Spencer Bowen
Executive Director
Spencer became the Executive Director on January 20,
2005 after serving as the Interim Administrator since
December 2003 and serving at the Camp as Supervisor of
Facilities since 1995. Working with the Board of
Directors, he oversees all camp functions and
activities. He is the Camp's representative to the
Disciples of Christ regional organization and to the
supporting churches in the various Areas.

James Wheeler
Director of Programs
James is in charge of fund raising for Central
Christian Camp and Conference and its programs. He is
also in charge of the Make Promises Happen camping
program. He has been a volunteer counselor for over 14
years and directs several of the camps each year.

Bryce Chitwood
Director of Operations
Bryce is primarily responsible for reservations and
scheduling for retreat and conference events. He
maintains the activity and staff schedules and is the
contact for visitor and tour information. He also
addresses any questions concerning costs, fees, and
accounting.

William Pearson
Maintenance
William is in charge of the care and maintenance of
grounds and equipment. He oversees 300+ acres of
campground including ponds, nature trails, and activity
areas.
